Ebinabo Potts-Johnson -I Once Thought Of Reducing My Boobs

In a fast changing world where the modern woman wants a firmer and larger breast, could it be considered strange that someone was thinking of reducing the size of her breast?

First runner-up at the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) 2007, Ebinabo Potts-Johnson recently granted an interview to the Vanguard on how she once thought of reducing the size of her boobs.

Strange isn’t it? Find out why such thoughts ran through her mind and why she has had a change of heart:

“Although God put it there and really, at some point in my life I was actually thinking that I need to reduce this thing (her boobs) because most times when people see me, it’s just the boobs they’re seeing, they’re not seeing the other parts of me. It can be embarrassing that people can only see you as a s*x object” she complained.

“Sometimes you just don’t know why a guy is coming after you. You don’t know whether it is because of your personality or your body. Though I don’t like to think a guy is coming for me because of my body but I get compliments a lot over my boobs. Sometimes a guy just passes and says, ““Wow, your boobs are big” and I just give them a smile and walk off.

As they always say; ‘one man’s meat, another man’s poison.’ lol

Julius Agwu Speaks On Why He Wants To Be Next Governor Of Rivers

Only last month, Nollywood superstar, Desmond Elliot declared his intention to make himself available for the service of the people by contesting for House of Representatives slot in Lagos State come 2015. Now another celebrity in the person of Julius Agwu has also come out to declare his intention to serve the people by contesting as the governor of Rivers state in 2015.

In a chat he had with the Vanguard recently, the River State born comedian opened up on a number of issues.

It is been quite a while; what’s been happening?

I am working on a lot of projects at the moment; I am still organizing comedy shows. l am currently working on something for my music. I have a band called ‘Reel Laif Band’ and we are performing at the Encomium black and white ball holding this Sunday.

The news is going round that you are working at becoming the governor of your state. What is your take on this?

Yes, I am working on that project too at the moment.

Would you call yourself a politician?

I cannot really call myself a politician, but l am someone who prays and wish for things to get better than it is in this country. I believe I can help to achieve what my brother started in Rivers State. It is a known truth that Port Harcourt was the Garden City of this great country, but we lost that glory because of poverty and neglect, coupled with incessant militancy and kidnapping. Governor Amaechi has done well for the State, but we still need good hands after he leaves to continue the good work.

If you are not a politician then why do you want to be the governor of Rivers State?

Becoming the governor of Rivers State was not something that came up overnight. It was not on my radar back then. The people of Rivers State in the Diaspora and those in the State have been clamouring for me to come out as an aspirant. They believe I have what it takes to go for it. It just dawned on me that I indeed have what it takes. I have given it a serious thought and have given in to their pressure.

These people who have been bothering you, would they sponsor your election, if yes, who are they?

Yes, they will. But I do not want to disclose their names for security reasons.

Will you use a political party at the end of the day?

Yes, we shall, eventually, but I do not want to unveil that now.

In your future party, do you think an aspirant from your party will be going for the presidency?

Yes, when the time comes it will be revealed.

How is the comedy business these days?

Comedy business is going well. You know it’s one of the biggest businesses in Nigeria now as it helps to relax our tensed nerves. People who laugh a lot tend to live longer. Comedy is so important that even people outside the shores of Nigeria know about it before us. Obasanjo was someone who practiced it while he was in power.

What else do you have up your sleeve?

I have a studio and I also own a construction company.

This Election Is Worse–Laments Bisi Akande

As results of today’s Governorship election in Osun state starts coming in, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress has lamented the handling of the exercise; describing it as the worse since 1966.

Former Interim Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Bisi Akande, has described the handling of Saturday’s governorship election in Osun State as a disservice to democracy.

He stated that accreditation was poorly handled in some areas.

The former APC Chairman who was the first civilian governor of the state, also complained about the arrest of APC leaders and supporters.

Do you agree with what the former Interim Chairman of APC just said?

Ebola: Liberian Diplomat pleads against stigmatization of Liberians

Will Nigerians ever find a place in their hearts to forgive Liberians, especially as it was a citizen of that country who ‘intentionally’ brought the virus to Africa’s most populous nation?

The Liberian Government has appealed to Nigerian authorities to protect Liberian citizens in the country from ``stereotyping and harassment’’ in the wake of the Ebola outbreak in West African.

Liberia’s High Commissioner to Nigeria, Al-Hassan Conteh, made the appeal on Thursday in Abuja at a briefing organised by the Nigerian government for the diplomatic corps on Ebola outbreak in the country.

The High Commissioner said Liberians living in Lagos had been “targeted’’ after the death of Patrick Sawyer, a Liberian and American citizen in Lagos from the Ebola virus.

Hopefully Nigerians will not visit their anger on other Liberians living within the country

Photo: Artists Show So Much Love To Femi Otedola's Daughter, DJ Cuppy

May be the title of the post should have just been Everyone Loves Dj Cuppy. Have you noticed that most celebs can’t get enough of Dj Cuppy, billionaire Femi Otedola’s daughter and love to flock around her at will, especially male celebrities? Hmm, some of them comment under her IG posts while some just monitor her from afar. Cuppy who just graduated from Kings College London with a flamboyant party from her dad, landed over the weekend in Lagos and has been painting the town red.

I also heard somewhere that, most male celebrities are forming to be single and praying quietly that the heir to Femi Otedola’s throne looks their way.

Photo: Nuella Njubigbo Completes NYSC Service

Unlike most of her colleagues, fast rising actress, Nuella Njubigbo is proud of herself and her level of education. Some of her colleagues would have claimed they graduated before now, but Nuella isn’t claiming so. The actress who just finished serving her country in Delta State posted a picture of herself in NYSC uniform indicating that she has just completed her NYSC service while flaunting her certificate. Nuella is no longer just an actress who is still waiting to graduate, but an actress with a degree. Big congrats to her. Indeed, education is important.
